Filters
A pond provides habitat for a variety of flora and fauna; a complex ecosystem that needs to be maintained. A filtration system basically consists of a filter pump for feeding the filter, a pond filter for biological-mechanical pond water cleaning and UVC clarifier to fight germs and algae in suspension.
There are three main types of filters: filter pressure, gravity and underwater.
Underwater filters
They are perfect for small and decorative ponds type. Suitable for prefabricated ponds with volumes up to 5000 liters.
Pressure filters
Pressure filters lead the pump pressure through the filter.
Gravity pond filters for fish and koi ponds
They are used in medium and large ponds or koi ponds. They are located above the water, on the edge of the pond or a stream, where the water flows without pressure, returning to the pond.
